Thousand Miles in a Day Ride: Highlights include the 2025 Ride 365 Challenge Rides:
The 50 Rides One Nations Sand Hills Scenic Byway Ride and The 15 Rides for '25 Biggest Ball of Twine Ride. Also included is part of the Western Trails Scenic Byway and the Geographic Center of the USA (pre-1959).
The route runs north through Wyoming to Scottsbluff, NE. Then, east to Alliance, NE, where we will stop for a quick lunch. The Sand Hills Scenic Byway runs from Alliance to Grand Island. We will stop for a byway photo at the Visitor's Center in Broken Bow. From Grand Island, the route takes US-281 to Lebanon, KS, for a photo stop at the Geographic Center of the USA. Then, it is a short jaunt to Cawker, for the Biggest Ball of Twine photo-op and dinner at the Wisconsin Trading Post across the street. After dinner, the route heads west on US-24 to I-70 and back to Aurora.
Meet-up: 4:45AM at Wal-Mart, 440 Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood, Co 80229. Pre-Ride: 4:50AM. KSU: 5:00AM Be ready to ride.
Lunch will be about Noon (MDST). Dinner about 6:30 (MDST). Gas and Biobreaks are approximately 176 miles apart. (89 miles to Cheyenne, 110 (190) to Scottsbluff, 176 in Thedford, 154 to Grand Island, 150 to Stockton, 166 to Burlington, 153 to Aurora)
Ride ends at the Flying J, 32nd and Airport Rd in Aurora for a final photo
Miles: 1009 plus the rider's distance to and from the ride. Duration: estimated at 19.5 hours. Hopefully, back to Aurora by 12:30 AM Sunday.

Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member. All guests must sign an event release. Be aware, all rides and events are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.
Impairment Policy: The consumption and use of alcohol is a serious personal responsibility involving the safety of family, riding friends and the individual HOG member. Alcohol consumption before or during a motorcycling activity is not safe, responsible behavior. Denver Chapter #3188 does not allow the use of alcohol or drugs before or during a riding event* and does not furnish alcohol at Chapter rides. Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride. Riders using alcohol or drugs while riding will be asked to leave the ride. It is the responsibility of each Template Chapter member to support the consistent enforcement of this policy
