May. 25-27 Mesa Verda/Cortez= Four Corners

Take a ride  through the Colorado mountain to the Four Corners of Colorado.    Meet up @ Mavrik 18465 W. Colfax Ave, Golden, near Avalanche H-D at 7:30 am.  Pre-ride @ 7:45am  KSU@ 8:00AM.  

We will head south to Puebo to possible meet up with DCH members down there. Then, we will continue to Walshburg and take US-160W to Cortez.  Lunch will be in Ft Garland.  The Cortez  meeting base will be at The Retro Inn.  

Sunday is a free day.  Optons:

1. You may tour Mesa Verde National Park. 

2. Ride out to the Four Corners to stand in 4 states a once and shop Navajo arts and crafts.

3. Ride a loop to Hovenweep National Monument .

4. Ride a loop to Silverton H-D and over the Million Dollar Hwy.   Note: Due to a closure on US-50, the Million Dollar Hwy will not be on the ride over or back.

Wes has ride plans for GPX naviation system and directions for optional rides 2, 3, and 4.

We will return Monday. Meet up @ 7:45AM. KSU 8:00AM.  Lunch is planned in Poncha Springs.  The remaider of the return ride will either be via US-285 or US-50/I-25.

Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member.  All guests must sign an event release. Be aware, all rides and events are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.

Impairment Policy: The consumption and use of alcohol is a serious personal responsibility involving the safety of family, riding friends and the individual HOG member. Alcohol consumption before or during a motorcycling activity is not safe, responsible behavior. Denver Chapter #3188 does not allow the use of alcohol or drugs before or during a riding event* and does not furnish alcohol at Chapter rides. Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride. Riders using alcohol or drugs while riding will be asked to leave the ride. It is the responsibility of each Template Chapter member to support the consistent enforcement of this policy

Photography Policy: Photographing, filming, recording and videotaping of activities and events will be occurring Denver Chapter events. By entering the H.O.G.® event area, you irrevocably grant permission to the Harley-Davidson Motor Company® and its agents to photograph, film, record and/or videotape you and use (and authorize the use of) your name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical or other information in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed in perpetuity for any and all purposes.
