Join our Denver Hog Chapter #3188 free spirited Road Captain Ann Merrill as she leads this ride through scenic views of Boreas Pass and Como, a must-see for history buffs and nature lovers alike. Whether you’re a train enthusiast, a history lover, or just looking for a fun day in the mountains, Boreas Pass Railroad Day is an event you won’t want to miss! We have been advised that our Hog Chapter will be permitted in the handicapped parking area. Don't forget to bring your own lunch. We will arrive at Como approximately 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM. (2 hr / 45 min. /130 Miles).
What to Expect: Live Music *(will start @ 2:30 PM), Speeder & Hand Car Rides, Roundhouse & Depot Tours, Railroad history, and many hands-on experiences you can celebrate South Park’s storied past. You can wander around and visit the various buildings on-site, including the Telegraph Building and the Roundhouse. Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member. All guests must sign an event release. Be aware, all rides and events are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.
Impairment Policy: The consumption and use of alcohol is a serious personal responsibility involving the safety of family, riding friends and the individual HOG member. Alcohol consumption before or during a motorcycling activity is not safe, responsible behavior. Denver Chapter #3188 does not allow the use of alcohol or drugs before or during a riding event* and does not furnish alcohol at Chapter rides. Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride. Riders using alcohol or drugs while riding will be asked to leave the ride. It is the responsibility of each Template Chapter member to support the consistent enforcement of this policy
